Gibo Teodoro: Destined to be President of the Philippines
Gilbert “GIBO” Teodoro is destined to be the 15th President of the Philippines if we will interpret the prediction of the famous American clairvoyant Jean Dixon. (Jean Dixon’s 1983 prediction after the death of Ninoy)
“In November 1983, just after the assassination of Sen. Ninoy Aquino, Jean Dixon had a prediction saying: “the widow of Sen. Aquino will become president…and even one of his children will someday try run for president but will be defeated by his own relative.”
Although Dixon’s critics had surmised that a lot of her predictions were hoaxed, it remains to be seen in a couple of days if her second statement of her above prediction will come true as her first statement.
Teodoro’s campaign was an uphill battle right from the start. A Harvard graduate and a newcomer, Teodoro anchored his campaign to positivism and totally veer away from the usual conduct of campaign Filipino politicians where known for. This paved the way for some of his party mates to leave him for either of the two survey front runners. Teodoro’s positive campaign did not work wonders as far as survey ratings is concerned.
But Teodoro’s supporters, loyal Lakas Kampi party mates and the volunteer group, Green Team, composed mostly of youth were not hampered and were even resolved to campaign harder for Teodoro as his critics continue to throw unsubstantiated issues against him through their ever effective media bureau. They can’t simply put a good man down.
Destined to be President or not, Teodoro had won the hearts and minds of many Filipino people, supporters and critics alike, by his positive campaign and bringing into a higher level. With Dixon’s predicition or not, Teodoro made the difference with his COMPETENCE, INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER in this year’s election and he is destined to be the next President for a lot of thinking Filipinos.
